Deisey has loved hospitality ever since she started serving tables in her family’s Chinese Restaurant at 10 years old. Always passionate about connecting with and celebrating people, she is grateful to do so in her career every day. Excited to help others pursue their hospitality dreams, she hopes to serve as a first-generation inspiration and give back to the warm, vibrant community that has given so much in welcoming her.

Antonia Hall (She/Her) is a proud San Antonio native with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. With a background in event management, she is well known throughout the city for her creative event design and balloon styling for community, corporate, and special events.

As a proud Black transgender woman and dedicated supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community, Antonia is passionate about equality, inclusion, and creating a stronger San Antonio for all. She is deeply honored to serve as an Official 2027 River Walk Royalty Candidate and looks forward to using this opportunity to serve, uplift, and give back to the city she proudly calls home.

Yvette is a San Antonio native, wife to Brian for more than 30 years, proud mother and GlamMa, entrepreneur, and full-time Design Producer who believes the heart of San Antonio is found in its people.

Together with her husband, she shares the adventures of empty nester life through their social media page, encouraging others to explore local restaurants, events, and hidden gems while celebrating the vibrant culture that makes the city so special. As the owner of a small creative business, she also enjoys designing personalized gifts that celebrate her culture and community.

Having had the privilege of cheering on her daughter during her reign as the 2025 Queen of the River Walk, Yvette witnessed firsthand the impact the program has on our community. Inspired by that experience, she is honored to be a candidate for the 2027 River Walk Royalty Court. She is passionate about supporting the San Antonio Hospitality Foundation and its mission to provide scholarships for students to pursue careers and leave their impact in San Antonio’s hospitality and tourism industry. Grateful for the city that has helped her make countless memories with her family, Yvette looks forward to giving back to the community she proudly calls home.

Rudy Rodriguez-Pretz has a passion for highlighting the people, places, and traditions that make San Antonio special. As the founder of Chulas of SATX, she is dedicated to celebrating San Antonio and bringing people together.

I’m Afrika Spencer, wife to Larry, proud mother of four, San Antonio Champion, River Walk ambassador, and lifelong advocate for family and community.

My River Walk story began with a walk. During a difficult season of loss, my daily walks along the river became a place of healing, reflection, and connection. I began noticing the orange butterflies that reminded me of my mother, who loved birds and butterflies and whose favorite color was orange. They became a symbol of love, remembrance, and transformation.

Today, the River Walk is not only where I live and play, but where I work and proudly serve my community. As an Event and Sales Manager for Pullman Market, Fife & Farro, Mezquite, Ladino, Isidore, and Nicosi, I have the privilege of bringing people together and showcasing the hospitality that makes San Antonio so special.

As a River Walk Royalty candidate, I am raising funds to support students at St. Philip’s College and UTSA pursuing hospitality degrees. I know firsthand the opportunities this industry can create, and I want to help the next generation build their dreams and become future ambassadors for our city.

Alyse Zagada is the founder and CEO of The Blooming Social. A woman of faith with a deep love for family and community, she believes leadership is best measured by service and is passionate about creating meaningful connections throughout San Antonio.

I moved to San Antonio in 2010 and began my hospitality career at a small Mexican restaurant on Blanco Road. Soon after, one of my regular guests offered me an opportunity to become a host at Casa Rio while I also worked at the Disney Store.

When I first arrived, I taught myself English by using cue cards so I could better communicate with guests. Through hard work and determination, I advanced through many roles at Casa Rio to include Head Host, Server, and Restaurant Manager shifts for Casa Rio and Schilo's. In 2023, I was promoted to Event Coordinator for both restaurants, where I discovered a passion for creating memorable experiences and building meaningful relationships.

My involvement with the Alamo Area Hospitality Association (AAHA) led to receiving the 2024 Member of the Year Award, followed by the 2025 Rising Star Award from the San Antonio Visitor Alliance (SAVA). These experiences have shaped both my career and my love for San Antonio, and they continue to inspire me to grow as a hospitality professional while giving back to the industry that has given me so much.

Brian is a husband, dad, Opie, and made San Antonio his home after marrying his wife, Yvette, over 30 years ago. Recently retired from a 36-year career, he’s now enjoying spending more time with family, hunting, fishing, and many other things he hadn’t been able to do as a full-time professional.

Over the past 30 years, Brian has created countless memories with family and friends while exploring San Antonio's local restaurants, businesses and community events. His love for the city extends beyond experiencing it firsthand—he and his wife enjoy sharing their adventures as empty nesters on their social media page, encouraging others to discover and support the people, places, and traditions that make San Antonio so special.

Inspired by watching his daughter, Karsen, serve as the 2025 Queen of the River Walk, Brian is honored to continue supporting the San Antonio Hospitality Foundation as a candidate for the 2027 River Walk Royalty Court. He is excited for the opportunity to raise funds for scholarships that help students pursue careers in hospitality and tourism while making an impact on the community.

Deric is a proud San Antonio native who passionately shares the city's history, culture, and traditions. With 14 years in the multifamily industry, he is active with SAAA and a SAYP board member. Known for his welcoming smile and supportive leadership, Deric inspires others to connect, grow, and succeed together.
